About
I was born in Utah and grew up in different towns in Wyoming, my experiences growing up and moving around towns lead to my desire to design and have a career within building/housing industry.
My passion lies in creating inclusive, sustainable places that enhance the well-being of people and the environment. I find inspiration in the materials I use and the stories around us. I thrive in collaborative team environments where learning and growth are constant.
Go RAMS! During college I loved being involved as a student member of IIDA, an undergraduate research assistant, and an undergraduate teaching assistant, as well as the senior class show coordinator.
I am so grateful that I could take a huge variety of courses at CSU. I was able to explore my passion for interiors and the built-environment in addition to learning an interdisciplinary approach to business through design thinking. Within my Business Administration and Entrepreneurship classes, I was taught how to make ethical and empathetic business decisions and advocate for my ideas while embracing how to think about my designs in more realistic ways. In my Real Estate classes, I got to dive deeper into real estate law and contracts, which I loved. It was fun to analyze property disputes, trespass, and landlord-tenant disputes. Within my interior design classes I learned so much about designing a thoughtful project while also practicing software skills to communicate my design intent and create accurate orthographic and perspective drawings.
I am beyond excited to start applying my education to my future career and meet new people who share my passions! Reach out on the contact me page or my LinkedIn if you would like to connect.
